The album of a generation that took over a year to complete it is Rob's entrance into funk and soul. While some may view it as merely music, some view it as an event that changed the course of their life. In all seriousness, the album went under many revisions. It was constantly rewritten to be the perfect laser beam of feeling. It was made in an earnest attempt to encapsulate humor and raw emotion at the same time.

The difference between the philosopher and the comedian is that the comedian knows what they're saying doesn't necessarily matter, but they say it anyways, in a very real attempt to make this life their own. That is the essence of this album, and that is the essence of life.
